Brian Sutherland, affectionately known as “Suds,” of Peterhead, passed away at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. He was 65 years old.

Brian’s death marks a heartbreaking loss for his family, friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was the dearly loved husband of the late Carol, and a much-loved and devoted father to Shantell, Angelo, Troy, Vernon and Dylan, as well as the late Alan.

A proud and devoted granda, Brian treasured his family and the special relationships he shared with those closest to him. His role as a father and grandfather was an important part of his life, and the memories created with his loved ones will remain cherished.

Beyond his immediate family, Brian was also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. He was known as a good friend to many, and his passing will be deeply felt by the wider circle of people whose lives he touched over the years.
