BUFORD, Ga. — Marvin Wiley, a 23-year-old Atlanta man, has died following a triple shooting in Buford that authorities say was connected to an alleged armed robbery. His death has brought renewed attention to the circumstances surrounding the September 5 incident, while investigators continue working to establish exactly what happened.

Gwinnett County Police responded to a reported shooting near the 1400 block of Laurel Crossing Parkway, where three people were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Wiley was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later identified him as one of the suspects allegedly involved in the armed robbery.

Another man, identified by authorities as Ortagus Bennett, was wounded and transported to a hospital. Police said he was in stable condition. A third person, E’imod Sanchez Toboris Taylor, was also injured during the incident and was taken into custody.
