BOWIE, Texas — William “Bill” Bernard Rogers, 83, of Bowie, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, following a battle with cancer. He died at Hospice of Wichita Falls in Wichita Falls, Texas, surrounded by the care and comfort provided during his final days. Bill’s passing marks a significant loss for his family, friends, and members of the Bowie community who knew and cherished him. Throughout his 83 years, he built a life filled with memories and relationships that will continue to be remembered by those closest to him. As his loved ones gather to honor his life, funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at the First Methodist Church of Bowie, Texas. Following the funeral, Bill will be laid to rest at Joy Cemetery, where a graveside committal will take place.
