The longtime FOX 5 New York anchor had stepped away from the morning program following her family’s loss. During her first day back, B.J. Thomas’ “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head” played ahead of the weather forecast, unexpectedly bringing back memories of her parents. Scotto struggled to hold back tears before explaining to viewers why the song had affected her so deeply.
